With the operating override concluded in April 2008, we dissolved Save Our Services Ballot Question Committee (SOS-BQC). Through our ongoing grass roots organization, Save Our Services (SOS) , we continue our efforts to preserve Wayland's services and quality of life in a fiscally responsible manner.

Over time, SOS’ mission is to explore ways to:

• increase state and federal aid and lessen mandates that restrict our flexibility to reduce costs
• relieve the tax burden on our residents by expanding the commercial tax base through Town Center
• continue to support the FY 2007 Ad Hoc Budget Committee’s recommendations to rationalize costs across town.

We are working together to ensure a bright future for our town and all who live here.
